The International Bicycle Design Competition (IBDC) announced the opening of its Innovation Exhibition, which will be held from now until January 31, 2025.

The Department of Industrial Technology(DOIT) of the Ministry of Economic Affairs(MOEA) announced the research and development achievements related to southern Taiwan at the "2024 Meet Greater South - Asia Bay Innovation X Startups in the Greater South" event in Kaohsiung on August 23.

As a leading non-profit organization, the Cycling and Health Tech Industry R&D Center is going green on Cycling, collaborating with Taiwan partners and looking for global cooperation opportunities.

The "2024 California Irvine Accessible Cycling International Visit - Sustainable Technology" exchange event, hosted by the Taipei Life Vitality Association for Persons with Disabilities on May 9th, invited teams from the Irvine City Government in California, the Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center (CHC) team, and hundreds of disabled friends to participate. Together, they experienced international exchange in accessible cycling, explored accessible bicycles and the upgraded version of Handcycle 2.0, and promoted a more diverse, safe, and healthy sports and leisure vehicle experience.

Supervised by Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs (DOIT, MOEA), and held by Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center (CHC), IBDC has come to the 25th edition. Through providing a platform for the industry and designers to exchange ideas, the achievements have accumulated nearly 15,000 entries from 87 countries.

The 2023 Taiwan Sports Industry Expo was held from December 23, 2023, to January 1, 2024, at the Taipei SongShan Cultural and Creative Park. Organized by the Sports Administration, the expo showcased innovative research and development achievements from various government departments, including the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

On November 22, 2023, Holger Zeltwanger, (Executive Director and Board Member of the German CiA Association), and Reiner Zitzmann, (Executive Director of the German CiA Non-Profit Business Subsidiary), visited CHC.

As it works towards making Taiwan into a model for accessibility and inclusion worldwide, the Center’s recent event demonstrates the potential for Handcycling to empower physically challenged people to enjoy biking outdoors.

The 2023 Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE), held from 10/12 to 10/14 at the Taipei World Trade Center, brings together innovative research and development achievements from various ministries, including the Ministry of Economic Affairs. It features three major theme pavilions.

After more than a decade of collaborative efforts among government, academia, and industry, the seedling has grown into a robust and thriving tree. In this land of over a century's history in Chiayi, several corporate entities have diligently worked together for over ten years, resulting in the development of competitive industries in food, agriculture, manufacturing, forestry, and the silver economy. We hope to continue growing together in the next ten years.
