Founded in 1992, CHC was named “Taiwan Bicycle Industry R&D Center (TBIRDC)” and focused more on the bicycle industry. In reply to the development of related fields, CHC then expanded its businesses to fitness equipment and medical devices. In 2003, the name was changed to“Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center (CHC)”.

The “Awards Ceremony of the 24th IBDC” was held at Conference Room 402, Hall 1, Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center on March 9, 2022, the first day of the “Taipei Cycle” show, where award-winning entries will be unveiled and two leading corporations in the bicycle industry, Giant and Merida, will also present awards at the event as a recognition of the designers’ devotion to the concept of original design of cycles.

At TAIPEI CYCLE 2022, CHC exhibited MOEA Technology Development Program Theme Pavilion, focusing on e-bikes and electronic products, which are the world’s hottest trends. With industrial promotion by the Industrial Development Bureau and Department of Industrial Technology’s R&D achievements, 21 technological program results in the bike area are exhibited at the Pavilion, including “EBike”, “IOT and BikeE”, “testing capability”, “smart manufacturing” and “talent training and zero carbon promotion program”.
