Taiwan Sports Industry Expo
The 2023 Taiwan Sports Industry Expo was held from December 23, 2023, to January 1, 2024, at the Taipei SongShan Cultural and Creative Park. Organized by the Sports Administration, the expo showcased innovative research and development achievements from various government departments, including the Ministry of Economic Affairs.

On November 22, 2023, Holger Zeltwanger, (Executive Director and Board Member of the German CiA Association), and Reiner Zitzmann, (Executive Director of the German CiA Non-Profit Business Subsidiary), visited CHC.

The 2023 Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE), held from 10/12 to 10/14 at the Taipei World Trade Center, brings together innovative research and development achievements from various ministries, including the Ministry of Economic Affairs. It features three major theme pavilions.

CHC Unveils at Meet Greater South 2023
In order to encourage scientific and technological innovation and industrial development in southern Taiwan, the Department of Industrial Technology held the "2023 Meet Greater South" event at the South Hall of Kaohsiung Exhibition Center from August 25 to August 26.
A Filming of CHC’s Testing and Certification Capabilities by CTS
On July 20, CTS (Chinese Television Service) visited CHC for a TV program. CTS first had an interview with our GM, Johnson Wu, discussing CHC's testing and certification capabilities, collaboration with international organizations, and the future opportunity of using cargo bike more commonly in Taiwan.

CTS also visited the Mechanical Performance Laboratory of CHC. The testing machines were introduced and demonstrated. Also, the importance of testing of bike and related products as well as new regulations of ebike were also mentioned during the filming.

The program will be broadcast on CTS News Magazine through CTS TV channel and YouTube channel once finished.

CHC Unveils at Eurobike 2023
    During June 21~25, CHC had been exhibiting at Eurobike 2023 for the purpose of showing its capacities to people that gathering at the show. This is the first time for CHC to be exhibiting at the Eurobike Show with the exhibition themes of decarbonization, International Bicycle Design Competition (IBDC), handcycle, indoor cycling climber, engineering service, and testing & verification.

    Also, by co-exhibiting with Industrial Development & Investment Promotion Committee (IDIPC)of Taichung City, we hope to introduce beautiful bicycle paths in Taichung, and invite people to come for sightseeing and participate in events like Taichung Bike Week and Wheels Ride Festival.
The 25th International Bicycle Design Competition (IBDC) is open for application
The 25th International Bicycle Design Competition (IBDC) is open for application starting from today!
IBDC has been hosted by the Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center (CHC) for more than two decades with the support and supervision by the Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs of R.O.C. (DOIT, MOEA). The purpose of IBDC is to establish a platform for creative concepts and design works. With creative and innovative ideas and designs exchanged from designers all over the world, Taiwan is hoped to be the hub of the bicycle creative design field, and can keep creating new trends in the cycling industry.
This year, the theme of competition is “Intelligence.Sustainability.Cool Lifestyle” With these three values, IBDC hopes that more bicycles can be created with intelligent technologies, sustainable considerations, and ideas that shows personal new lifestyles. The application of the 25th IBDC will be opened from 2023/06/01~2023/11/15. Application and more information of the competition can be accessed on IBDC’s official website:
