The 2023 Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE), held from 10/12 to 10/14 at the Taipei World Trade Center, brings together innovative research and development achievements from various ministries, including the Ministry of Economic Affairs. It features three major theme pavilions: the “Innovation Leadership Pavilion”, the “Future Technology Pavilion”, and the “Sustainable Development Pavilion.” The Taiwan Innotech Expo plays a role as an international intellectual property center, not only showcasing Taiwan's R&D accomplishments but also inviting international organizations to participate.
During this exhibition, the Ministry of Economic Affairs' Department of Industrial Technology presents various smart applications and innovative technologies in the Innovation Leadership Pavilion. Among them, the 'Riding Sport Science Application: E-Bike Indoor Smart Riding System' from the Bicycle Center integrates electric-assisted bicycle riding sensors, communication technology, and virtual riding interaction systems to transform outdoor riding into indoor fitness. By collecting and analyzing sports data, can provide personalized exercise guidance, just like having a cycling coach by your side. It stood out among 70 exhibits and was awarded the first prize for Best Business Opportunity Matchmaking.
