IBDC has been hosted by the Cycling & Health Tech Industry R&D Center (CHC) for more than two decades with the support and supervision by the Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs of R.O.C. (DOIT, MOEA). The purpose of IBDC is to establish a platform for creative concepts and design works. With creative and innovative ideas and designs exchanged from designers all over the world, Taiwan is hoped to be the hub of the bicycle creative design field, and can keep creating new trends in the cycling industry.

This year, the theme of competition is “Intelligence．Sustainability．Cool Lifestyle” With these three values, IBDC hopes that more bicycles can be created with intelligent technologies, sustainable considerations, and ideas that shows personal new lifestyles.
