Two smart E-bike achievements of CHC were showcased at the 2022 Taiwan Innotech Expo (TIE) Innovation Pilot area from 13~15 October 2022.

Entering the New Normal after COVID-19, the demand for E-Bike continues to be strong. In 2021, on average, one-third of bike exports from Taiwan are E-Bikes. CHC developed a smart E-bike, which is in sync with international technology and features a core controller with an intelligent aiding model. It is capable of detecting changes of slope and adjusting the aiding ratio intelligently. In addition, it can also guide rider's pedaling frequency to higher efficiency levels in response to ergonomic needs, and the integration of electronic control, electric drive, battery and other three electric data acquisition, network communication, mobile device system, and cloud data platform system technology can intercept riding real-time information, integrate multiple communication interfaces, connect cloud data platforms, etc., providing personalized intelligent assistance needs, making the E-bike the one that knows you better than you do.

Cargo bikes, which are used in carrying goods or people, have been getting more popular over the past years in the European area. However, the existing front wheels of cargo bikes are inflexible due to the longer wheelbase, further resulting in more difficulty and learning time when taking control of the bike. This patented Leaning Control System (LCS) takes the longitudinal centerline on the ground as its tilting axis, making the sliding resistance on the track extremely small, which greatly enhances riding safety and maneuverability. When riding, the Leaning Control System can automatically allow for or block tilting according to the speed of the vehicle. It can agilely move at low speed, and no physical support is needed when stationary. Furthermore, the narrow bike body “Naro Delta Vehicle (NDV)” that is applied with the system is allowed to weave through the city flexibly and easily.
