IBDC STORY:
International Bicycle Design Competition (IBDC) is the first bicycle concept design competition in the world. Founded in 1996, the mission of IBDC is to encourage innovative bicycle designs and original bicycle ideas to be created. For nearly three decades, IBDC has invited 14,417 excellent entries from 87 countries to participate in, which has brought lots of ideas of innovation to the bicycle industry.
Hosted by CHC with the supervision and support from the Department of Industrial Technology, Ministry of Economic Affairs of R.O.C. (DOIT, MOEA), IBDC is a platform for bicycle creative concepts and design work, and is expected to attract designers around the world to contribute their creativity to the future of cycling.

For nearly three decades, IBDC has been getting solid support from the bicycle industry, especially leading companies in Taiwan, including Alexrims, Fairly, Giant, KMC, Marwi, Merida, etc. Not only do they make innovations in their companies, but also support IBDC to be organized for years.
